Undine’s Gift
As strange as it may sound, the book “Undine’s Gift – Vol. 1” consists of three parts, it is intended for different ages and is interesting to everyone, but adults will understand it most of all. It may seem at first glance that this is a naive fairy tale about the courage, decency and wisdom lost in our century, as well as about such important “non-childish” concepts as life and death, love and responsibility for oneself and for others, friendship and loyalty.
So what is behind this seemingly novel, or children’s fairy tale, and why does it pose completely adult questions to the reader, when even the devils are outraged by what is happening in the world?
In a few sentences, we will try to figure out what the fantasy fairy tale “Undine’s Gift” is.
I am the writer Iulia Jilinschi, not a sage, but I will show you what is hidden between the written lines, those very questions, and maybe you, my readers, will find the answers?
I will say right away, do not try to look for “pitfalls” and hints in the text, although there are some. Everything is much simpler; my philosophy is unambiguous and clear, because it rediscovers in us the worldview of the coexistence of good and evil, the world of witchcraft, alchemy and mermaids, who give their gifts to the heroes of the book, but always to the bravest, who have those qualities that people lose in our material age.
